Architecture for Kids

Have fun by learning about art history, architecture and math (especially geometry). Our voyage begins with the magnificent structures of Ancient Egypt and Greece and ends with the buildings and skyscrapers of the modern world. Learn about the three orders of columns, the post & lintel system vs. the Roman arch—which was the most important “building block” of the modern world. Working individually and in groups you will create your own 3D structures to demonstrate your grasp of the architectural elements and concepts.
