Musical Instruments

For kids 4–6 years
Class Time: 9:30am–12:00pm

With Shoora Majedian

In this course you will learn how to make your own musical instruments. From turning an empty can and some tissue into simple percussions to making drums from some cups and balloons, you will learn how to combine recycled and art materials to create imaginative and fresh artworks. Toilet paper rolls will become rain shakers, and a guitar will be constructed from cardboard, while a tambourine will emerge from branches, buttons and wire.

You will paint and decorate new instruments expressing your own taste and individuality, shaping them into tools that not only allow us to titillate our sense of hearing through music, but are also beautiful to look at.
