Marija Barac Jandric
Croatian born, Marija moved to Canada in 1986, right after graduating from University of Zagreb in Engineering.
In 1996 she completed her fine art studies at OCA (Ontario College of Art) in Toronto, graduating with honors in Drawing and Painting.
Marija has been involved in Toronto arts community since early nineties, helping establish and run Propeller Center for The Visual Arts in 1996, as well as being on the Board of Directors at different art bodies such as The Scarborough Arts Council.
Since her graduation from OCAD, Marija has worked as free lance artist and art educator at various private and public institutions including Ryerson University. She is the director, founder, and owner of Rosetta School of Visual Arts in the Birch Cliff Village area of Toronto.
Her paintings are a part of private, corporate and museum collections in Canada and abroad.
