Architecture for Kids

Have fun by learning about art history, architecture and math (especially geometry). Our voyage begins in Ancient Egypt and Greece and ends in our world of modern architecture. Students will learn about the three orders of columns, the post & lintel system vs. the Roman arch which was the most important “building block” of the modern world. Students will work in groups to create their own 3D structures to demonstrate their grasp of the architectural elements and concepts.
